La pagina del quotidiano La Repubblica, online, dedicata alla nascita dei due falchi pescatori, Osprey, in maremma, con i disegni miei e di Iole Eulalia Rosa sul nido e la coppia dell'Ombrone. In Italia ha avuto molto successo e risalto la notizia del ritorno del falco pescatore come nidificante dopo 42 anni di assenza dal nostro paese. Grazie al progetto del Parco della Maremma con il Parco regionale della Corsica.

Qui siamo raffigurati tutti e tre al lavoro, al centro si vede il nido storico del fiume Ombrone che ha portato nuova vita al Parco...

Mostra sul ritorno del Falco pescatore - Osprey

E così, dopo anni di osservazione e disegni, studi, ecc ho preparato una mostra sul falco pescatore che è stata esposta in tante sedi, e l'anno scorso aggiornata con i disegni nuovi, realizzati insieme alla collega artista naturalista Iole Eulalia Rosa, proprio sulla coppia e il nido del fiume Ombrone nel Parco della Maremma che ha portato alla prima nidificazione e nascita di due piccoli osprey dopo 42 anni di assenza in Italia... Una gioia profonda e tante giornate passate sotto il nido a sperare, attendere, disegnare, soffrire con la coppia di falchi fino a quel 17 maggio 2011 che ci ha regalato la vista di due piccole teste di osprey appena nati che uscivano dal nido. Era la conferma finale.
So, after years of observations and drawings, studies etc. I arranged an exhibition on the Osprey which was hosted in several places and updated last year with new drawings that I made together with the wildlife artist Iole Eulalia Rosa on the Ombrone river nest and couple (Maremma Park) which brought to the first nest-building and birth of two little Ospreys after 42 years in Italy... A deep joy and many days passed under the nest hoping, waiting, drawing, suffering together with the couple until that 17 May 2011 when we saw two little newly born Osprey heads peeping out from the nest.
